Painting organic design with watercolor and multi media has been a passion and a driving force for artist Hedy Berman. Her studies started with High School featured art works and classes at American International College in Springfield Massachusetts.

In Florida 32 years, she studied privately and in group sessions with some of south Florida's finest instructors such as Jane Collin, Lee Gokel, Lynn Kroll, Al Razza, Herb Green and nationally recognized, Charles Mills. She has also studied at Broward Community College and The Coral Springs Museum of Art.

Hedy has served on the board of directors for the Coral Springs Artist Guild for the past 3 years. She is an active member of Art Serve, The Broward Art Guild, The Gold Coast Watercolor Society, and the Coral Springs Artist Guild. She has shown with the Boca Raton Artist Guild.

Hedy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from The University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She strives for perfection and is always eager to explore new challenges with her uniqueness of style.

Focusing on organic design with multi media materials frees me to create with color, dimension, softness, and intensity. My style is tactile inviting the viewer to touch. My presentations range from an impressionistic watercolor to a mixed media with an under painting or over painting or both using unusual texture.
